I advise and serve customer on their meat selection. I am responsible for the shop display and I am always bringing new ideas in order to maximize sales. I deal with all the presentation and sales charcuteries /cheese and readymade meal like a variety of pies.

I joined the company as a “Production Manager “. My role consisted of managing the poultry section with 250 employees under my supervision. We worked with the whole process of bringing the chicken from the farm and turning them into ready for sales products either for the Frozen or Fresh market. After 5 years I was promoted to the post of” Processing Manager “where I was sent to France (Bretagne) for 2 months to supervise and facilitate the implementation of the “Elaborated Chicken Product “factory in Mauritius in association with the French brand (Farmstead). I set up the factory once back and trained 20 staffs to take over the smooth running of that particular branch. The turnover was 1.3 million Mauritian rupees profit for the first year. I have always been recognized for my hard work and dedication had the opportunity to be a “Quality Manager” once the factory started to run smoothly. I then worked closely in the opening of 150 Chicken Butchery around the island. I implemented the health and safety regulations, trained the shop managers in managing, displaying and building relationship with the clients.
I left the company because I moved permanently to London for family reason.

I started my career at the age of 15 as an apprentice butcher. I worked my way through various prestigious retail outlets while studying part time (C.A.P –FIRST CLASSE degrees in butchery) at the end, my devotion and hard work paid off and I held the post of Master Butcher in France ”Intermarcher, Auchan, Continent some of the most leading retail company in France for over 10 years. Developed all my sales, retails, and customer care and management skills at that period.
